Google Mini Project-Google Forms (The infamous crash and burn episode)

“I didn’t fail 1000 times. The light bulb was an invention with 1000 steps.” ~~ Thomas Edison

I know we were not inventing the light bulb but it was still a challenge worth while.
Google forms is a tool that allows you to create tests and surveys. It also compiles the information gathered in the surveys. The information can be shared or edited by selected others and even the general public.
       Uses:
  • Proofreading/editing
  • Form templates
  • Eliminates paper waste
  • Everyone uses it
  • Reach large audiences
  • View trends in student knowledge
  • See where students do well and poorly on tests
I found google documents (forms) useful on several different levels.  First, as a language teacher I think it could be greatly practical when making documents with material I am not fully sure of.  I could have colleagues edit and correct various elements.  It would also be great to get information from students for those who are not into sharing in front of groups.  A great private collector of data that can be continuously updated.  Not to mention the translator feature.
